Guisborough Model Flying Club was founded in the early 1970's and has developed and grown in strength and stature ever since through the efforts of its members.

The club is situated in the North East of England and serves the area of East Cleveland. It has a powered flying site near Guisborough catering for both fixed wing and helicopters. Other flying sites are available to members across Cleveland and North Yorkshire catering for electric flight, slope and flat field gliding. The Club is an affiliated member of the BMFA.

We fly all disciplines of radio controlled model aircraft ranging from powered fixed wing trainers and sport models, silent flight - gliders and electric powered, helicopters, through to full house turbine powered jets. We have over 100 members, many with experience in a number of disciplines.

The club has its own flight training equipment so if you are not sure if this sport is for you we can arrange a trial flight for you.
