Meetings

We meet at the Lazenby Working Mens Club on the first Monday of the Month [except on Bank Holidays, then the second Monday] at 7:30PM for an 8:00PM meeting start.

Everybody is Welcome.

During the Summer months we usually meet at the Club flying field for a fly-in and barbeque.

Keep an eye on the Club Calendar for what is happening each month.

Flying Fields

Our flying field is situated on the outskirts of Dunsdale off the B1269 near Guisborough. Here we fly Power (IC, GT & Electric), Helicopters, and occasionally some flat field gliding via bungee. The field has a good open aspect, sited on raised ground.

The postcode for those with Satnav is - TS14 6RQ.

We have club house facilities with a barbecue and seating area.

We have the use of Kirkleatham Show Field situated on the outskirts of Redcar for silent flight.

Club members have the sole use of:

  • Castleton Rigg just above Castleton.
  • Access to a South East Facing slope via Barnaby Side Farm, situated near the Cross Keys pub on the A171, just outside Guisborough.

We have a buddy box facility for powered and silent flight; ideal for your first nervous flight or if you just fancy a go and don't want to splash out spending your hard earned money without finding out if you like it or not.
